I know nothing about stocks. Where do I start?
In order to trade stocks you first need to sign up for a brokerage account. Your broker will be able to provide detailed instructions on how to place your orders to buy or sell stocks online.
If you have limited trading capital, low commission CFD (contracts for difference) trading can be a cheap alternative to a regular broker account.
We have also put together a short beginner's stock market guide to explain some basic concepts and help you get started.
Where can I download your stock signals software?
Trend-Chart.com™ is a subscription based website. You do NOT need to download anything. All you need is access to the Internet, your username and password. You simply log on [from any PC] and start using our buy & sell stock charts.
What should I trade?
The timing signals are intended for timing Standard and Poor's S&P 500 index. This world-renowned index includes a representative sample of 500 leading companies in the major industries in the U.S. With over 80% coverage of U.S. equities, it is an ideal proxy for the total stock market.
The easiest way to BUY the S&P 500 index is to buy the ticker symbol: SPY
The easiest way to SELL SHORT the S&P 500 index is to buy the ticker symbol: SH
We do not offer stock buy and sell signals for individual stocks in the S&P 500 index or E-mini s&p sell and buy signals.
How easy is this system to use?
The S&P 500 stock market timing signals are very easy to use, even if you have no stock trading or technical analysis experience. We provide clear-cut indicators showing you when to BUY, SELL SHORT and EXIT the stock market.
SELL SHORT = Buy ticker symbol SH at open.
BUY = Buy ticker symbol SPY at open.
EXIT = Exit all open positions.
All you need do is to log in and check the website once a day to see if there is a new signal. Then call your broker and place an order before the stock market opens in the morning.
How much can I expect to gain or loose?
The returns vary from year to year, depending on the market conditions, but the market timing signals has consistently outperformed the buy-and-hold approach.
During the most recent six years of live trading (2006 - 2011) the market timing indicator signals has returned on average 12% each year. The best year so far was 2008 with 39% return. The worst year was 2009 with a 3% loss.
Of course the past performance of any trading indicator or methodology is not necessarily indicative of future results.
It is important to understand that no trading indicator will win 100% of the time. Drawdowns and loosing trades are normal parts of trading. Drawdowns up to 20% or more must be expected.
Should I trade on margin?
Margin trading is a high-risk way to magnify your buying power and increase profits by borrowing money from your broker. Of course, trading on margin magnifies both your profits and your losses. You should only engage in margin trading if you really understand what you're doing and know the risks involved.
If you do not have a margin account you can use leveraged ETFs to gain leverage.

Our stock market buy and sell signals are issued before market open.
How much does a subscription to Trend-Chart.com™ cost?
There are no subscription charges for the free trial month. After your FREE trial period is over and you sign up for a paid subscription you will automatically be billed $30 a month, until you cancel the subscription.
I have trouble logging in
If you cant remember your password, go here to generate a new password.
1.) Passwords are case-sensitive.
2.) Make sure that you have configured your browser and firewall properly to accept cookies.
3.) You may have an old or incompatible browser. Please update to the newest Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome browser.
4.) Popup blockers and Internet accelerators can cause login problems.
5.)You may have spyware, virus and/or a browser hijacker on your computer that is causing your problem. Download and run software to remove any suspected spyware and virus.
How do I cancel my subscription?
There is no need to cancel a free trial subscription. It will automatically expire after one month.
All paid subscription payments for Trend-Chart.com™ are handled securely by PayPal. Should you desire to cancel the subscription, you can do so by logging onto your PayPal account.
